With nearly 20 years' experience, Matthew was originally a partner of John Sanders Chartered Surveyors before the company merged with Fisher German in 2011, when he became an Equity Partner. He advises on a broad range of matters specialising in rural/agricultural sales and acquisitions, taxation and court valuations, planning and development to include land promotion, estate management and general professional services, acting predominantly for the private client sector principally across the West Midlands. Although he hails from the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Matthew's family origins are farming in the Cambridgeshire Fens and after graduating from Harper Adams, he moved to Worcestershire, where he now lives with his wife and two young children. Matthew is a fan of all aspects of outdoor life and sports and is known for the occasional cycling trip across various countries.

He specialises in rural estate management and also acts for a number of utility companies dealing with linear apparatus throughout the UK.

David also advises on renewable energy and is a specialist in anaerobic digestion projects for a range of clients using waste and energy crops.

Anthony has 30 years' experience in the management of rural land and estates, and the sale, purchase and valuation of rural and residential property, and development land. He specialises in rural planning and diversification including new build schemes and traditional building conversions from the initial design stage to disposal. In matters of dispute he acts as an independent expert, and offers expert witness advice to the Courts on valuations and professional issues. Anthony is married to Sarah with three young sons. He is widely travelled, a keen sailor, ageing cricketer and follower of Worcester rugby. He is also an external examiner on the BSc Honours Rural Land Management course for RAC Cirencester.

Yan has 17 years' experience in rural estate management for landlords, ranging from charities, private individuals and family trusts. Other areas of expertise include shoot management, rural valuations, maintenance and refurbishment of historic buildings, being a member of the SPAB (Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings). Yan works in Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire and is a member of the Worcestershire CLA committee. Married to a Worcestershire farmer's daughter, Yan helps run a Scottish Reeling Ball in Cheltenham for charity and is treasurer of his old prep school boys' society in addition to being a school governor. Four young children keep him busy otherwise.

Anthony was originally Senior Partner of Halls (Midlands) LLP prior to the firm's merger with Fisher German. He advises on wide ranging matters including rural, agricultural sales and acquisitions and management, professional valuation, residential planning and development. He is Glebe Agent for the Diocese of Worcester and acts as an independent expert, together with offering expert witness valuation advice. Anthony has lived in Worcestershire for all of his married life.

As an Associate in the Rural sector, Tom’s role is to provide a wide range of rural professional advice including estate management, landlord and tenant advice, valuation and rural agency. Tom manages two large estates together with a mixed portfolio of private clients, providing advice on sales, lettings, basic payment subsidies and planning. Having graduated from Harper Adams University, Tom now has more than six years’ experience, originally with Halls (Midlands) LLP before the merger with Fisher German in 2016. Tom is a member of the regional Association of Agricultural Valuers, holding young valuer representative and also sits on the committee for the regional Agricultural Law Association. Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time on his family farm in Somerset, shooting, sailing and skiing.

Planning applications for agricultural buildings, barn conversions and agricultural worker dwellings including the preparation of Statement of Agricultural Need reports. Planning applications for the Change of use of land and buildings, Retrospective Planning Applications, Certificates of of Lawfulness, Enforcement and Appeals. Dealing with utility works such as pipelines, wayleaves and other apparatus across land, managing accommodation works, advice on compulsory acquisition, negotiation of compensation claims and agreeing settlement and reinstatement of land and dealing with any future issues. Mapping and land registration issues including voluntary first registration of land and Boundary disputes. The preparation of Land Registry compliant plans for conveyances, easements, tenancy agreements and planning applications as well as cropping and general estate management plans. Residential and commercial property management and lettings. Telecommunications, including lease renewals and rent reviews on behalf of landowners. Nicola qualified as a rural practice chartered surveyor and CAAV agricultural valuer in October 2012, having graduated from the Royal Agricultural College in 2010. She lives in Herefordshire and outside of work, she enjoys all aspects of rural life as well as walking her cocker spaniel, spending time with friends and family and running, swimming and cycling.
